One Step at a Time
I was buying food from the supermarket last week and was really annoyed about myself.
I always kept my recycling bag in the my car boot but in my hurry, left it there.
As a result, i ended up with lots of plastic bags.
If we really want to help reduce the use of plastic bags, we probably need to tackle 2 fundamental issues.
First, people do forget, even when they want to help reduce plastic bag usage.
Second, current recycling bags does not serve all the needs of the shoppers. For example, when you purchase raw food produce like fish, prawns etc, you need to have a water proof bag to separate it from the rest of items.
My first step in tackling this issue. I am going to attempt to come up with a solution specifically tackling the 2 issues mentioned above. Hopefully, this will help reduce plastic bags usage at supermarkets. More news on this ... ...
